We’re taking important action to combat the perils of sedentary workplaces

“Reducing sedentary time can improve physical, metabolic and even mental health”

As we all know, today’s workplaces can see us becoming increasingly sedentary as we work longer hours at our desks and workstations.

Staff health, wellbeing and morale is paramount at Livemore so naturally we’re always looking at new ways to improve the working environment for our team. Our first phase includes the installation of adjustable height desks throughout the office, allowing people to alternate between sitting and standing positions and minimise the effects of sitting all day.

We’ve also created a central ‘Hub’ – a relaxing, comfortable space for team members to hang out and chat with colleagues, grab something to eat or let off some steam on our brand new ping pong table. It’s gone down a storm - so well in fact that we’ve launched a competitive league with some staff investing in their own paddles!
