Greig House – Salvation Army
Poplar, London
Greig House is a Grade II listed Salvation Army rehabilitation unit in the Docklands, East London.
We carried out major refurbishment works including a complete replacement of the ageing slated pitch roof and lead dormers alongside extensive internal refurbishment and replacement of mechanical & electrical systems.
The conservation work was particularly interesting with regard to replacing lead sheet work to the dormers, box gutters and replacement slates which had to be hand-picked to satisfy the local Conservation Officer.
Revitalised to its former glory, Greig House will remain fit for purpose for the Salvation Army for many years to come.
