A complete strip out of the original theatre suite and reconstruction of a new state-of-the-art laparoscopic theatre within the confines of the existing external envelope.

The major reconfiguration works, including replacement and enhanced service provisions, had to be progressed within a busy, live operating environment. Due to the complexities of the scheme the design and sequencing of the building operations required extensive consultation between all parties involved.

The new first class facilities will enable the hospital staff to provide the best possible treatment and thus make a positive difference to their patients for years to come.
